making progress

Over all today was a normal Dr. visit, pee in a cup, blood pressure check, the ugly weight check, and then the visit with the Dr. who was out delivering another baby. I met with the nurse practitioner who I love and feel confident with. She listened to the heart beat and right in the middle I had a contraction and she said the baby handled it perfectly. She measured me and said the baby was normal but a little on the small end for 34wks (but I do have small babies anyways). Then the nurse moved onto feeling for the babies position through my tummy and said the she was head down and then seemed a little surprised that she is already engaged into the pelvic area, (i was wondering why it hurt to walk ;) ). So hopefully this little one will come sooner rather than later, not sure I could handle another month of her being so low.

Yeah, isn't that great when they think it's fun to lodge themselves in your pelvis?? It's either that or feet in between your ribs. There's no happy medium at this stage....I am so excited to see her!

I'm kind of late catching up here... I was pregnant with Aaron only about 4 months after Renee was born. He was SO low in my pelvis that when I would wake up in the middle of the night to potty I could not even walk. I had to hold onto the walls the pain and pressure were SO bad. And this was in the early 2nd trimester! Even with a c-section, they had to use forceps to get him he was so lodged in there. LOL
