We decided to make good use of our Thanksgiving break and head to New Orleans and visit Patrick's grand mother, his Uncle and Aunt were gracious enough to let us stay with them (Thank you Jim and Margaret)

the kids with their G.G Reilly

at the park enjoying the animal crackers G.G. had bought the kids

enjoying some authentic food at Smitty's
it was really yummy

Kaitlynn loved to just climb up and cuddle with G.G.

on the ferry heading into N.O.

heading to the Quarter

enjoying hot chocolate and
beignets at cafe
du monde
on our last day Patrick went to the
LSU vs. Ark game while the kids and I along with Margaret went to go find some alligators....the water is low this time of year so we only ended up finding one. Then it was off the N.O. again for lunch , site seeing and
souvenir shopping.

the coolest street performer the wheels
actually moved and he would fold up into a cop car

when we got home Preston was not feeling good, and went down hill soon after that, and ended up with hand foot mouth

the kids hung out on the porch swing as we (I) packed the van

That was so good for your family and grandma. They may in time forget but the pictures will last a lifetime. I am so glad that you went.
