A little late but here we go

Between all the holiday craziness Kaitlynn had her 2 month check up, she weighed 12lbs (78%) and is 22.5 in. (54%). She did really good and of course cried when she got her shots. She's had a bit of a stuffy nose but other than that she looked good. Two days later I was back at the Dr. with Lilly who had suddenly come down with a fever of 103 and she was really congested, she tested positive for strep.... jump to 2 1/2 -3 days later she's still feeling crumby and having a fever (yes she was on antibiotics). So I took her back into the Dr. and the Dr. was worried that she might have abscessed tonsils, she checked them and they were really swollen but didn't seem infected. She gave us a stronger antibiotic and said that if she didn't feel better by Thursday (today) to bring her back and we'd discuss other things (tonsillectomy). It seems the antibiotic has been working this time, her fever is gone and she actually had a few bites of dinner last night, so lets hope she is on the mend. And now tomorrow Patrick gets to have PRK (lasik) he's so excited (minus the pain that he is going to have to go through with PRK) and I'm a little jealous. Hopefully after this we will be able to finally slow down and get back to a normal day to day life (as normal as you can have with two energetic toddlers and an infant)

That stinks that it took Lilly so long to get well. Jeremy said they gave Parker a strong antibiotic to begin with. I hope she continues to get better and doesn't need her tonsils taken out. Good Luck to taking care of Patrick also after Lasik. We all know how whinny guys get when they are in pain. No wonder they don't have to bear kids....hahah..we still love him.

I am so glad that Lilly is feeling better now. It is scary when your kids are sick and you don't know what is wrong for sure.
Kaitlynn is getting so big...she is a cutie.
Good luck with Patrick. I hope all goes well and that he doesn't drive you insane after it is over.:)
