One of my cousins little boys has been sick for while and he was finally diagnosed with Kawasaki disease (yes it's real). It can cause inflammation of the blood vessels, particularly of the coronary arteries which could lead to heart attacks and aneurysms. It is treatable and if treated early enough there should be no long term complication. The key word being if treated early. OMG- That is so sad...I always feel so sad when little kids are sick. I don't ever wish that upon anyone. I hope all goes well and they get some good news!
