The Story
Went in Tuesday morning to be induced. Got everything started and had my water broken by 8:00am. A few hours go by and nothing has changed other than the pain from the contractions. Around noon I noticed that my epidural had stopped working on the left side (this sucked). We also noticed that the babies heart rate would drop during every contraction, they checked me and i was still just a 5, i about cried cause i was hurting so bad, but then jump to 1:00 and I was fully dialated and baby was ready to come out. When she came out the cord was around her neck but she was fine. She weighed 8lbs 6oz. and is 19 1/2in. a whole 2lbs heavier than my other kids. Everything is going great and we are at home now.

wow congratulations. what a day. she was a healthy size. can't wait to see more pictures. I hope you are doing well.
As I was reading about the birth, I was SURE you were going to say you ended up with a C-Section! I'm so glad she came on her own and everything was fine. I'm sorry you had such a hard time of it with the epidural wearing off and all. She's so sweet, and a good size too. LOL We are happy for your whole family.

Yeah, she is adorable. I can't wait to meet her. I wish I could be there to help out more. It's times like this that make living so far away hard. hugs and kisses.

Funny, I just realized her middle name is Renee - not a bad name if I do say so myself. ;-) Now that I'm not "Renee Reilly" anymore, it fun to see another one in the family. :-) I always thought Kaitlynn was a pretty name - I liked the way you spelled it too. And Kaitlynn Renee goes nicely together. Anyway, enough about that. Congratulations again!
