What we missed while we were gone

While we were gone this last weekend we got word that a fire had started on the mountains about five miles from our home. I thought nothing of it till I recieved a call from a neighbor telling us that we needed to start filling up and storing water because our towns water tank was being threatned by the fire, unfortunately we weren't home. We returned two days after the fire had started to find that it had been contained and was just smoking in some areas, and all the houses had been saved and there was no problem with the water tank, definately a relief.
