let's start our 4th out with a BANG!!

After watching the hot air balloons inflate and take off we went to go sit down for the parade. Patrick went with Payten to go find Aunt Meghan (Reilly one). Lilly and I were enjoying our drinks when all of the sudden her chair tipped over she smacked her mouth right on the curb. There was blood everywhere, once the bleeding stopped I was able to take her inside my moms work (where we were sitting outside of) to clean her up and get a better look at things. Her teeth seemed to all be in place and I figured she just cut her lip. When Patrick got back he took her to the Dr.'s but they sent him to the emergency room ( don't you just love that). In the end we found that she didn't even cut her lip the blood had come from her gums from hitting teeth so hard, they said she probably burst a blood vessel in her lip hence the swelling. They made it back for the last bit of the parade and Lilly enjoyed sucking on otterpops to help with the swelling.
